Fastlane : First off congrats on FastLane Starting back up. What influnces kidd?
Kidd Nastie : Thanks, Its an honor to be working with people who are actualy Putting in work. My Kids, My life, my passion for hip hop and metal... Id say thats what influences me.
Fastlane : How long have you been in the rap game?
Kidd Nastie : Too Long. ha, i was like ten or so when i started making music.
Eleven years to be exact
FastLane : Did u have a hardlife growing up?
Kidd Nastie : yeah, it was tough. i been through alot of shit. Seen alot of shit at a young age that i realy shouldnt have seen ya dig ?
FastLane : I know from personal experince that you have made who you are from backpackin mixtapes at highschool football games, but what made you hustle for hiphop??
Kidd Nastie : My Love for it man. I been signed to soo many Diffrent Labels. and none of them Ever did shit for me. i mean sure i got shows with some Big names. But To them it was all about the money. me as an artists I thrive for the shit. i love the feel of being in the lab wit my homies. Chillin. Or on stage infront of a crowed when there singin along to my shit. Shits like a high that drugs never got me. ill be doin music for the rest of my life... Yeah the backpack thing haha Thats how fastlane started. But thats what you gotta do. and now its just even better. Dont get me wrong i still slang shit out of my bag. or my car. but i got people from Ohio to AZ beggin for new shit. But dont get me wrong. Its also about the money. i love working doing somthing i love. and helping other Striving artists get out there.
FastLane : With that being said what has your music evolved into over the years? Describe your genre>
Kidd Nastie: shit.. Evolution of my music.
when i started i was tryin to be somthing i wasnt. aka a horrorcore artists.
i produced like five or six horrorcore albums. then i tryed the whole Metal Hip hop shit
witch was kings of havoc
Then i moved on to the whole Emotional Hip hop shit aka Emohop haha but i was soo depressed durringthat period of time that it was just my feelings spilling out through lyrics. and that was Care 2 listen and P.s
But now you hear my shit. and its like... My life in a handbasket.. and what we are becoming if that makes sence. its my Rebirth. im not all down and depressed anymore. and i quit doing alot of drugs. Now its me Speaking with a clear mind.
the True Me. i guess. What people want to hear.
FastLane : can the fans expect here soon?
Kidd Nastie : Oh yea. we have alot in the works.
Fast Lane : ALOT. oh its like that. lol no hints of mixtapes or when albums start droppin?
Kidd Nastie : i am working on a new album.... You guys were expecting Spawntanious...But The new album is actualy Being called Will RAP for Change
and it is looking to be released early april late march
The mixtape on the other hand. were shooting for early march.and already its nuts. im proud of Young Gaddy he's put alot of effort in to it already and is featured on like four or five tracks on the album.

But what you can expect from the new album. is all Fresh Hard ass bangers. and mostlikey Radio Play. Im going all out. putting Everything i have in to it. no holding back .
FastLane : We Talked to Gaddy earlier today and asked him if he would consider doing acouple tracks with guitar and drums in the backround or even a dubstep feel in the backround?
Kidd Nastie : In the works.
actualy Got a live band recording a instrumental for me. for my album we are making a beat of of Metalicas Where ever i may roam

As of live tho. eventualy i would love to have a live band behind my shit. but that takes alot.
FastLane : What music you diggin these days?
Kidd Nastie : Everything man. Country. Hiphop, metal, Screamo, Regge The only thing i cant listen to is Gosple
but id have to say Eminem and Tech N9ne.
alot of em and Tech, and alot of pantara and Lamb Of God Drake and Weezy
Kidd Nastie : man im not like all those FastRappers ... like Tech.. for instance.. Dudes a Genius. But if you listen to his lyrics his shit dosent make sence. he Jumbles shit together. Alot. me i keep a dictonary and a thussoras or w.e the fuck you spell it lol. That deffinatly makes me look inteligent. but i keep those around like my bible man. and i take shit that has happend and flow it out that way. Try to rhyme as many words as i can in oone set of bars before i switch it up.
i kick it fast then slow it down
so i have a breather. then i speed it up again.
Most of my songs are 36 bars a verse instead of 16 like most rappers.
and i try to use as many Big Words as possible
